Thank you so much for writing for me! I can't wait to see what you make for any of these characters I love, and I hope you have fun creating for them!

Adding this because I often feel self-conscious as an artist when it comes to giving art treats: I would LOVE to get art treats! Fellow artists, if any of my prompts inspire you to draw, do ittt! Art likes: fancy clothes, cuddles, pastel colours, unusual compositions, negative space, soft shippyness, symbolism. I prefer non-explicit art.

 

General Likes:

·         Canon-compliant fics.

·         Genres: casefic, mystery, adventure, heists. Character studies. Outsider POV.

·         For AUs: What ifs/canon divergence. Historical, spy/mafia, royalty AUs. Fantasy AUs for mundane canons.

·         For ship fic:

o    Rivals to still-rivals-but-also-lovers. BFF to lovers. Characters that love each other so much it blurs the lines between platonic and romantic, or where it doesn't matter or that difference doesn't exist. A is B's favourite person, in every way.

o    Loyalty: deference (without being an established D/s relationship), fealty, Taking Orders, King-and-Knight. Relationships with messy power imbalance in more than one direction (eg: older stronger employee/younger weaker boss).

o    Smut likes: Suit Porn and disheveled suits. Sex to Maintain Cover Identity. Sex as character study. Muscles, scars. Partially open clothing, bondage, honor bondage. Overstimulation, edging, naked man/partially clothed woman (open robes/shirts), woman on top, frottage, two dicks in one hand, biting; hot candle wax, wall sex.

·         Angst and darkfic. Torture as long as it isn't sexual and doesn't include DNWs. Trauma and PTSD, the realistic/darker side of lighter canons as long as it doesn't read like “fixing” canon. Scars. Whump.

·         Loyalty and Competence kink.

·         Court intrigue and (non-rl) politics. Characters who are Good People having to do Bad Things.

·         Fics that include that canon's word usage / fantasy lingo / how the characters refer to each other, particularly when honorifics are a thing.

·         Fics that follow the tone of canon. I do like second person fics, if you like to write them. I'm down with experimental/unusual story structures. I like 5 things fics.

DNWs:

·         Criticism of the canon, unrequested headcanons. Sexuality/gender themes or discussions unless requested. Poetry. Issuefic. Unrequested non-canon pairings.

·         AU DNWs: Mundane/non-supernatural AUs for supernatural canons, and Modern AUs of the high school/college/barista type. Daemon AUs. Soulmate AUs.

·         Realistic serious or terminal illness (mentions of mild /magical /curable illness is fine).  Illness-based H/C. Violence to fingernails or eyes more serious than a black eye. I generally prefer my angst to be violence-based rather than illness-based.

·         Self harm. Recreational drug use, drug addiction. Non canon alcoholism. Incest.

·         Babyfic/pregnancy. Infidelity/divorce. Kids being in the room / within earshot during sex.

·         Smut DNWs:

o    Underage. Non-con. Scat, rimming, watersports, focus on bodily fluids, the word "juices".

o    M-Preg. A/B/O.

o    Dirty talk. Humiliation. Public sex/sex in places where somebody may walk in. Infant Play/infantilization. Shower or bathroom sex, kitchen sex, period sex.

o    Focus on kink negotiation.

o    Non-canon terms of endearment.

o    Focus on one partner's inexperience, where the other has to walk them through step by step.

Fandom specific DNWs:

·         Butler as Artemis’ father figure.

·         Butler portrayed as not smart.

·         Artemis portrayed as a bad person.

·         Artemis being ignorant of sex; this is Artemis Fowl, he knows everything about everything, he’s discussed his own puberty, canonically, more than once, AND he writes fairly successful romance novels. 

·         Ship fics that include any mention of romantic feelings between him and Butler while Artemis is underage (in his own personal timeline, meaning until 3 years after the end of TLG).

·         Holly/Juliet/Minerva bashing.

·         Sexual violence

 

I just finished a reread of the entire series so fic time it is! I don’t remember the fandom opinion on TLG but I loved it. I don't plan on reading the Fowl Twins books, so I do not mind spoilers for them but anything too specific I will probably not catch. I also do not mind if you ignore them. I also haven't read the Moon short story but I know some spoilers.

I love both the characters and the type of plots these books have. I am a sucker for heists and casefic so I’d be super happy with more canon-style stories, and also similar plots involving all humans and not the People.

I specially love Artemis and Butler. I love how their relationships are built on hard-earned respect and competence. I love how Artemis has been the centre of Butler’s life literally since he was born, and how Butler chooses Artemis, again and again. I like them both as platonic best friends, and as romantic ship once Artemis is an adult. (Not so much as father/son like, I prefer Artemis to be stuck with his underwhelming father as his only paternal figure). I love Holly and Juliet and Minerva too, and I’m fine with mentions of Artemis/Minerva and unrequited (on Holly’s part) Artemis/Holly as backstory. I see the Fowls as well meaning and loving but not fantastic parents, which Artemis doesn’t realize.

One thing that’s not that much in canon but I would like is violence: canon keeps it mostly PG but I would like fics where people who get hurt get HURT, Butler actually makes good on his threats, etc.

 

Prompts:

Gen prompts:

• Artemis and Butler are synonym with Competence Kink to me. I want to see them steamrolling bad guys in overly complicated ways.
• I love to see Artemis having to use his body to solve things since that’s his weak spot (eg. crawling though that radioactive vent on EC or flying the plane on TLG).  Related to what I said about violence above: would love to see Artemis having to physically fight or hurt someone.

• Shenanigans where Artemis has to act as backup for a Butler scheme for once.
• Adult Artemis! When he was a child he had to be creepy to be respected, but now he doesn’t need that anymore. Give me 20+ yo Artemis mingling with rich douchebags, finally getting all those patents under his real name, going to Mars in a rocket he built on his back yard.

• Artemis and Butler are also Loyalty Kink incarnated. I love it in all its twisty ways: mutual respect, angst because of the power imbalance, bonus points if the angst goes both ways!
• Outsider POV has an extremely wrong idea of what was going on with all those supernatural shenanigans (but gets the characters extremely right).

• Darkfic prompt: “I will spend your life like the precious treasure it is in the cause we have both signed up for.”

 

Crossover prompt:

• Crossover with Alex Rider. I would LOVE to see Artemis involved in human spy shenanigans. Alex is sent to steal something from Artemis, it goes badly for him, it ends up with them working together to find out who set them up. Alex/Artemis would also be appreciated.  (It’s okay if in this fic Butler appears less, a story like this works better with Alex as the only muscle)

 

Shippy prompts (Artemis/Butler):

• Any romance should be when Artemis is an adult (3+ years after TLG).
• I see Artemis as bi and Butler as demi or ace but those are just headcanons, you can use them or not.
• Sudden Realization - Oh No They're Hot. And they both emphatically disagree.
• Fealty, Sex to Maintain Cover Identity, Taking Orders, Suit Porn and dishevelled suit porn.

• Perceived (but not actual!) dubious consent because X will obey any order Y gives them: the bread and butter of Artemis/Butler. I love pining on Artemis’ part (to which Butler is oblivious), mutual guilt - but not too much, this is Artemis we’re talking about.

• I like that the muscular characters remain muscular, and the scrawny characters remain scrawny. Butler is strongly handsome, while Artemis is delicately pretty (he will deny this till hell freezes over).

• Artemis canonically writes extremely popular romance novels, and if you can include that in any way I’ll love it.

Canon-specific DNWs: Himawari (I prefer no children) and Tatsu/Miku's TV backstory (any other tv show elements, plots and changes are fine). Sexual assault. Tragic endings. Fake-outs in a serious story (if there's apparent danger I prefer the danger to be real, and not revealed as fake/miscommunication)

I have watched the anime and both dramas and read some of the manga. I just adore the image of a Very Dangerous person being soft and wholesome, while still dangerous. I love the humor and the highly specific references to yakuza tropes. I also love that there are actually good pieces of advice on house chores! Tatsu (and the whole story really) sits in the exact intersection of Loyalty kink and Competence kink that its basically tailor made for me.

I love how Miku and Tatsu both have their own type of silliness, feel free to lean more on the “we are both in on the joke” like the drama or more on the absurdism of the manga/anime.

For these three I love how Masa looks up to Tatsu who is loyal to Miku. Although I love the hijinks tone of canon, I would like a fic that takes the elements seriously. Some of my favorite parts on anime and drama are where Tatsu's past or the conflicts are not played for laughs. So if you want to write a serious take on any trope, I'd love it!

You don't have to use all characters. My preferred configurations are:

Tatsu/Masa pre-marriage or with Miku's knowledge and approval.

 

Prompts:

• The story of how Tatsu and Miku met, manga canon. Feel free to go wild on the violence/darkfic here (as long as it has a happy ending).

• I’d prefer if any Tatsu/Masa leaned more into the loyalty/sexual/fwb element than a romantic love element, keeping Miku as Tatsu’s one true love.

• I also like Tatsu & Masa as a platonic friendship! I love the mentor role Tatsu takes and how he doesn’t push Masa in any way but always tries to nudge him in the right direction.

• Adventure/casefic. Tatsu’s yakuza days, or an old issue that comes up and needs his attention. Feel free to take it as absurdly as canon or more realistically. Any kind of yakuza story (movies, books, etc.) pastiche.

•  Smut is VERY welcome (see my smut likes on top).

• Royalty AU. Miku is the Queen, Tatsu the assassin that she somehow managed to make her loyal attack dog. Politics and intrigue ensue.

• Tropes: Fealty, Sex to Maintain Cover Identity, Suit Porn and dishevelled suit porn.

Gosh I was OBSESSED with this series as a kid, and I loved it even more when I could finally watch it all the way through as an adult. It is so smart, innovative and action packed, and the slightly absurd humor actually works. I love how this is basically a ridiculous premise played straight, and my favorite episodes are the ones where the world and events are taken with 100% emotional sincerity (eg. Operation: GROW-UP, Operation: IT, Operation: TREATY, Operation: INTERVIEWS).

Nigel is my bias. Also, I like Lizzie. I like her character development, I love Operation: GIRLFRIEND, and I screamed when she was revealed to be a GKND operative. That makes SO much sense. 

You don’t have to use every character. I would love most of all Nigel-centric fic but I love all of Sector V and would enjoy a fic that includes the whole team. I ship 1x5, 1x362, 1xLizzie and 1xChad. Would not mind a fic that includes/mentions more than one of those ships.

 

 Prompts:

•  GKND. Let’s be real, that’s what we all want to see. Give me the full sci fi angst fest.

• What is life like as a GKND operative? Numbuh 1 used to be the best, but how does he fare as a weak human in an organization full of aliens?

• Worldbuilding: Are the GKND immortal, do they get sick? What happens to someone who lives, experiences, learns, but doesn't grow up? (I would enjoy both canon-happy, and dark takes)

• Lizziex1. hc: Lizzie as a sleeper agent. 1xLizzie meeting in space after their break-up. Does she remember him? I have a headcanon that her memory of being Numbuh Vine was blocked while on Earth to protect the mission. It explains a LOT of her strange behavior. 

• The return of Numbuh 1 at the end of Op. Interviews. That must happen AFTER the GKND plot... unless not everything is what it seems.

• I have NO problem with any gore, violence or eldritch abominations unleashed upon this canon. Go full Animorphs on it.

I have read Stormbreaker and Crocodile Teas and watched the old movie when it came out. I decided to check out the show, then I accidentally 3 seasons in 4 nights.

I am not picky on separating the versions of canon, you can mix and match books and show as you like. I personally like MI6 more than “the Department” for Alex’s employers and the movie’s actor over the TV show’s for Yassen.  I would prefer if you avoided major book spoilers for books not adapted that I haven’t read.

I love heists and spy shenanigans so this show was perfect for me. I like the show’s more grounded and realistic approach compared to the books (even tho a nonsensical setpiece here and there is appreciated). I also love the angst of it not ignoring the trauma and PTSD of being a teen spy.

Also I love Yessen (even if I like the movie’s actor better) and yeah, I ship Alex/Yesen once Alex is an adult.

 

Prompts:

·         I enjoy watching competent characters kick ass and solve mysteries, so any casefic would be lovely. Details can be realistic or handwaved, your choice.

·         I have read and love all James Bond books, I am down for a pastiche/fusion/homage.

·         Angst! I love some good H/C and whump. Focus on the physical and mental toll of being a spy.

·         Adult spy!Alex. How has he changed after yeas working for MI6?

·         Speaking of which, Alex/Yassen. I love them in all their unhealthy bad idea glory. Enemies-with-benefits, reluctant allies (with benefits). Alex having to save Yassen’s ass for once.

Crossover prompt:
