Adding this because I often feel self-conscious as an artist when it comes to giving art treats: I would LOVE to get art treats! Fellow artists, if any of my prompts inspire you to draw, do ittt! Art likes: fancy clothes, cuddles, pastel colors, unusual compositions, negative space, soft shippyness, symbolism. I prefer non-explicit art.

General Likes:

• Canon-compliant fics light in headcanons.

• Genres: casefic, mystery, adventure. Heists. Angst. Character studies. Outsider POV.

• For AUs: What ifs/for want of a nail. Historical, spy/mafia, royalty AUs. Fantasy AUs for mundane canons.

• For shippy fic:
  
  • fluff; All-Loving-Heroes. Rivals to Still-rivals-but-also-lovers. BFF to lovers. Characters that love each other so much it blurs the lines between platonic and romantic, or where it doesn't matter or that difference doesn't exist. A is B's favorite person, in every way.

  • Relationships with power imbalance in more than one direction (eg: older stronger employee/younger weaker boss). Loyalty, deference (without being an established D/s relationship).

• Angst and darkfic. I like torture as long as it isn't sexual and doesn't include DNWs. You can beat up my favorite characters all you want! Also trauma and PTSD, the realistic/darker side of lighter canons as long as it doesn't read like a criticism of canon.

• Loyalty kink and Competence kink.

• Court intrigue and (non-rl) politics. Characters who are Good People having to do Bad Things.

• Fics that include that canon's word usage / fantasy lingo / how the characters refer to each other, particularly when honorifics are a thing.

• Fics that follow the tone of canon. I do like second person fics, if you like to write them. I'm down with experimental/unusual story structures. I like 5 things fics.

DNWs:

• Criticism of the canon, unrequested headcanons. Sexuality/gender themes or discussions. Poetry. Issuefic. Unrequested non-canon pairings.

• AU DNWS: Mundane/non-supernatural AUs for supernatural canons, and Modern AUs of the high school/college/barista type. Daemon AUs. Soulmate AUs.

• Realistic serious or terminal illness. (mentions of mild /magical /curable illness is fine) Violence to fingernails or eyes more serious than a black eye. Illness-based H/C - I generally prefer my angst to be violence-based rather than illness-based.

• Self harm. Drug use. Non canon alcoholism. Incest.

• Babyfic/pregnancy. Infidelity/divorce. Kids being in the room / within earshot during sex.

• Smut DNWs:
  • Non-con. Scat, rimming, watersports. Focus on bodily fluids, the word "juices".
  • M-Preg. A/B/O.
  • Dirty talk. Humiliation. Public sex/sex in places where somebody may walk in. Infant Play/infantilization. Shower or bathroom sex, kitchen sex, period sex.
  • Focus on kink negotiation.
  • Non-canon terms of endearment.

Canon-specific DNWS: established relationship, discussions of sexuality, smut, non-canon social issues.

Don Quijote was probably the first fictional character I loved. It was also the first book I ragequit because the characters were being so mean to my bb, how dare (I came back years later and finished it). I kept loving him throughout the years and adaptations. I have also studied the work academically, so I welcome any nerding out if you are a fellow Spanish Literature student. I think what drives me to the character is that he knows, actually, that knights are not a thing anymore, but he still wants to be one. I am firmly on camp "Quijote is a hero". He is a character that devotes himself to a cause greater than himself, and that tries hard to help the people around him (also fails, but that doesn't stop him from trying!). He would be a Shonen Protagonist if he weren't in the wrong story.

I get that the style of the book is rather unique, and that translations vary, but don't let that discourage you! It doesn't have to be written in the style of the original.

Since I'm a native Spanish speaker and read the book in Spanish, I'd prefer the original spelling of the characters' names. I'm also open to Spanish language fic if you're fluent in peninsular Spanish!

Prompts:

• · I really, really want a Don Quijote magical AU:

o Canon-verse Quijote and Sancho in a proper magical adventure in the style of the Adventure of the Cave.

o Quijote and Sancho in a fantasy AU. In this version of Spain warlocks definitely exist, but what are you doin in full armor trying to fight them, dude, you are as muggle as they come. Think a fairytale Prince stuck in Game of Thrones.

•  A pastiche that includes different versions of Quijote, like Don Coyote, the Petipa ballet, and Man of La Mancha (I love this one to pieces).

• Noir Quijote. Either everybody else is being full Noir and he’s… well, 15th century, or like in the original he is trying to be a Noir character in a realistic crime setting. 

• As for Quijote/Sancho: I ship it, but for canon-era fics I'd prefer no named romantic relationship, rather a nameless attachment that the characters don't even try to define. For AUs, I'd enjoy everything from close friendship to “it's ambiguous even for the characters” to unrequited love to "you are the most important person in my life”. (No established relationship/boyfriends/husbands) 

• Loyalty kink and every trope from novela de caballerías / chivalric romance, including crossover/pastiche with them. Whump and H/C.

•  I LOVE both competence kink and the fact that Quijote is VERY tough and dangerous when he wants to, and he can take way more of a beating than any normal person his age should. He just needs to be pointed in the right direction. Any fics leaning into that would be lovely.

Ahh, my new shiny canon. I have watched the anime and both dramas. I just adore the image of a Very Dangerous person being soft and wholesome, while not stopping being dangerous. I love the humor and the highly specific references to yakuza tropes. I also love that there are actually good pieces of advice on house chores! Tatsu (and the whole story really ) sits in the exact intersection of Loyalty kink and Competence kink that its basically tailor made for me. For these three I love how Masa looks up to Tatsu who is loyal to Miku. Although I love the hijinks tone of canon, I would like a fic that takes the elements seriously. Some of my favorite parts on anime and drama are where Tatsu's past or the conflicts are not played for laughs. So if you want to write a serious take on any trope, I'd love it!

 You don't have to use all characters. My preferred configurations are:

 Tatsu/Miku     Masa/Tatsu/Miku 

Tatsu/Masa pre-marriage or with Miku's knowledge and approval.

Prompts:

•  The story of how Tatsu and Miku met, manga canon. Feel free to go wild on the violence/darkfic here (as long as it has a happy ending).

• I’d prefer if any Tatsu/Masa leaned more into the loyalty/sexual/fwb element than a romantic love element, keeping Miku as Tatsu’s one true love.

•  I also like Tatsu & Masa as a platonic friendship! I love the mentor role Tatsu takes and how he doesn’t push Masa in any way but always tries to nudge him in the right direction.

• Adventure/casefic. Tatsu’s yakuza days, or an old issue that comes up and needs his attention. Feel free to take it as absurdly as canon or more realistically. Any kind of yakuza story (movies, books, etc.) pastiche.

• Fluff and romance, plot-less curtainfic, platonic cuddles, domesticity. I love how Miku and Tatsu both have their own type of silliness, feel free to lean more on the “we are both in on the joke” like the drama or more on the absurdism of the manga/anime.

•  Smut is VERY welcome (see my smut likes on top).

•  Royalty AU. Miku is the Queen, Tatsu the assassin that she somehow managed to make her loyal attack dog. Politics and intrigue ensue.

• Tropes: Fealty, Sex to Maintain Cover Identity, Suit Porn and dishevelled suit porn.

Hello, old fandom I’ve just fallen for again, it’s been a while. You cannot imagine how happy I was when I learned AF was eligible this year TTT

I love both the characters and the type of plots these books have. I’d be super happy with more canon-style stories. Also I love Holly and Juliet, I didn’t prompt for them specifically but they are awesome.

This year I wanted fics about Artemis and Butler. I love how their relationships are built on hard-earned respect and competence kink. I love how Artemis has been the center of Butler’s life literally since he was born, and how Butler chooses Artemis, again and again. I like them both as platonic-best friends and as romantic ship. (Not so much any father/son dynamic).

Also not a hard DNW but I haven’t read the Fowl Twins books, so any reference to them will fly over my head.

Prompts:

•  These two are made of Competence Kink. Loyalty Kink in all its twisty ways, mutual respect. Angst because of the power imbalance, bonus points if the angst goes both ways!

•  Sudden Realization - Oh No They're Hot, and by they I mean Artemis. Artemis emphatically disagrees.

•  Tropes: Fealty, Sex to Maintain Cover Identity, Taking Orders, Suit Porn and dishevelled suit porn.

•  Perceived dubious consent because loyal A will obey any order B gives them: the bread and butter of Artemis/Butler. I love pining on Artemis’ part (to which Butler is oblivious), mutual guilt - but not too much, this is Artemis we’re talking about.

•  Shenanigans where Artemis has to act backup for a Butler scheme.

•  Outsider POV has the extremely wrong idea of what was going on with all those supernatural shenanigans (but gets the character extremely right).

•  Darkfic prompt: “I will spend your life like the precious treasure it is in the cause we have both signed up for.”

•  I like that the muscular characters remain muscular, and the scrawny characters remain scrawny. Butler is strongly handsome, while Artemis is delicately pretty (he will deny this till hell freezes over). I prefer any smut be from Butler’s POV. Artemis canonically writes extremely popular romance novels, and if you can include that in any way I’ll love it.

•   Any romance should be with Artemis of legal age. Post-series, once Artemis grows back into an adult. Artemis’ age is canonically a mess, so any handwaving of the specifics is OK.

Chad, Lizzie (Numbuh Vine)

Canon-specific DNWs: smut, any sexual content beyond canon. Aged-up characters (outside of Op. Interviews).

Gosh I was OBSESSED with this series as a kid, and I loved it even more when I could finally watch it all the way through as an adult. It is so smart, innovative and action packed, and the slightly absurd humor actually works. I love how this is basically a ridiculous premise played straight, and my favorite episodes are the ones where the world and events are taken with 100% emotional sincerity (eg. Operation: GROW-UP, Operation: IT, Operation: TREATY, Operation: INTERVIEWS).

Nigel is my bias. Also, I like Lizzie. I like her character development, I love Operation: GIRLFRIEND, and I screamed when she was revealed to be a GKND operative. That makes SO much sense. Sadly I couldn't request Numbuh 362 too, but I love her too. 

You don’t have to use every character. I would love most of all Nigel-centric fic but I love all of Sector V and would enjoy a fic that includes the whole team. I ship 1x5, 1x362, 1xLizzie and 1xChad. Would not mind a fic that includes/mentions more than one of those ships.

 Prompts:

•  GKND. Let’s be real, that’s what we all want to see. Give me the full sci fi angst fest.

•  What is life like as a GKND operative? Numbuh 1 used to be the best, but how does he fare as a weak human in an organization full of aliens?

•  Let’s go full worldbuilding: Are the GKND immortal, do they get sick? What happens to someone who lives, experiences, learns, but doesn't grow up? (I would enjoy both canon-happy, and dark takes)

•  Lizziex1. hc: Lizzie as a sleeper agent. 1xLizzie meeting in space after their break-up. Does she remember him? I have a headcanon that her memory of being Numbuh Vine was blocked while on Earth to protect the mission. It explains a LOT of her strange behavior. 

•  The return of Numbuh 1 at the end of Op. Interviews. That must happen AFTER the GKND plot... unless not everything is what it seems.

•  I love the 1xChad relationship. Chad in general is such a fascinating character and I’d love fic that explores his character seriously. How did it feel to be left behind?

•  If you are feeling wild: GKND x Dune crossover.
  

• I have NO problem with any gore, violence or eldritch abominations unleashed upon this canon. Go full Animorphs on it.

Canon specific DNW: sexual violence, modern (XX/XXI century) AUs

Disregard the non-supernatural AUs DNW for this canon. 

Prompts:

I really liked the premise of this story, but I always felt that the arranged marriage aspects were over too quickly. I'd love to see a story where that is the main plot. 

I specially like the idea of Miyo being sent to a man she believes is a monster. A slow burn in which we see more of the lies spread about him and where she slowly uncovers the truth. I also really liked all the domestic aspects of the story. 

I have no preference between keeping the story in its canon magical universe, moving it to our world in a historical au without magic, or to a different magical or non magical world.

I also liked the idea of Miyo having no magic, or having specific low key magic, and I wouldn't mind if the reveal of her powers never happened.
